Call for Submissions – Lepan Poetry 004

Lepan Poetry, a semi-annual multilingual poetry magazine, invites submissions for its fourth edition. The magazine publishes the work of emerging and established poets, photographers, and visual artists from around the world.

As the world trembles in constant turmoil, human lives are impacted in both uplifting and tragic ways. Some people have migrated—by choice or force—while others have simply moved into a new stage of life. The past slips quietly into time’s folds, and recalling it stirs a unique blend of sweetness and pain. Because nostalgia is deeply personal and no two memories are alike, Lepan Poetry 004 seeks poems, visual art, photographs, and short essays that echo the emotional resonance of meaningful memories.

We welcome submissions in the following categories:
– Poetry (up to two poems)
– Visual Art and Photography (two JPEG images, 300 dpi)
– Short Essay (about 300 words on poetry or art)

Each artistic submission should include the title, year of creation, and a short description (max. 50 words). All files must be sent as attachments in a Word document. Please include a biography of no more than 100 words.

Submissions are accepted in English, French, and Spanish. If written in another language, an English translation must be provided. We strongly encourage contributions in African languages.
