The 3rd International Tolerance Festival for Culture and Tourism to Be Held in Sousse, Tunisia
The Organizing Committee of the 3rd International Tolerance Festival for Culture and Tourism has officially announced the opening of participation for its upcoming edition, which will take place in the coastal city of Sousse, Tunisia, from October 29 to November 2, 2026, at the prestigious Orient Palace Hotel.
Organized under the supervision of the festival’s new administration, this edition aims to present an integrated cultural and tourism program that brings together literary, artistic, and intellectual creativity while promoting the values of tolerance, intercultural dialogue, and mutual understanding.
The festival’s cultural program features a series of literary, intellectual, and critical seminars with the participation of distinguished writers, scholars, critics, and cultural figures from across the Arab world and beyond. The program also includes book signing ceremonies, providing authors with an opportunity to present their latest publications and engage directly with readers and fellow participants.
In addition, the festival will host refined artistic and cultural evenings, combining music and the arts to strengthen human connections and celebrate cultural diversity. A special honoring ceremony will recognize outstanding literary, artistic, and cultural personalities in appreciation of their remarkable contributions to creativity and cultural development.
Blending culture with tourism, the organizers have prepared an extensive sightseeing program that includes a guided tour of Sousse, featuring the Old Medina, the Archaeological Museum, and a scenic sea cruise. Participants will also enjoy an excursion to the historic city of Kairouan, visiting the Great Mosque of Uqba, the Old Medina, the Aghlabid Basins, and the shrines of Sidi Sahbi and Sidi Boulbaba, offering a unique opportunity to discover Tunisia’s rich historical and cultural heritage.
Participants will benefit from a wide range of services, including independent media coverage documenting their participation, arrival and departure assistance, comfortable transportation for all official activities and excursions, as well as a variety of special surprises prepared by the festival organizers to enrich the overall experience.
The participation fee includes full-board accommodation (three meals daily), access to all cultural and artistic events, participation in the honoring ceremonies, the complete tourism program, and all accompanying services. The fee is US$450 for a single room and US$380 per person in a double room.
The Organizing Committee emphasized that participation will be limited in order to maintain the highest standards of organization and hospitality. Writers, artists, intellectuals, journalists, and culture enthusiasts from around the world are warmly invited to join this distinguished international gathering, where creativity, tourism, and intercultural dialogue come together in the spirit of tolerance.
