Dhaka, 22 September 2026: The flat allotment letter in the \u201cAparajita\u201d multi-storey building constructed at Mirpur DOHS was handed over to the families of martyrs seriously injured\/killed in accidents including BDR mutiny and UN peacekeeping missions and at various times at the meeting room of the Ministry of Defense today, Tuesday, 22 September 2026.<\/p>\n
At a ceremony organized on this occasion, Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Mr. Md. Ashraf Uddin, handed over the flat allotment letter to the members of the martyrs\u2019 families. At the ceremony, the allotment letter was handed over to a total of 70 families of martyrs and seriously injured in various operational and non-operational causes including BDR mutiny and UN peacekeeping missions. It is to be noted that 156 flats have been constructed in 02 buildings in Mirpur DOHS with the approval of the government under the supervision of the DOHS Central Committee. The ceremony was attended by the allottees, as well as officials from the Ministry of Defense, the Military Land and Cantonment Directorate, the Army Headquarters and the Army Welfare Constructions and Developments Limited (SKCD).<\/p>\n
The ceremony commemorated with deep respect the members of the military who sacrificed their lives or were seriously injured in various operational and non-operational causes, including the BDR mutiny and UN peacekeeping missions.
