Capstone Course 2026/1 Visit to Armed Forces Division (AFD)

Dhaka, 20 April 2026 (Monday): A distinguished delegation of 46 members from the Capstone Course 2026/1 visited the Armed Forces Division (AFD) as part of its course curriculum. The delegation included parliamentarians, senior officers from the Bangladesh Army, Navy, and Air Force, bureaucrats, academics, diplomats, media personnel, prominent business leaders, senior police officer and eminent scholars.

The delegation was warmly received at the Armed Forces Division. During the visit, the head of the delegation, Major General Md Moshfequr Rahman, BSP, SGP, SUP, ndc, psc (retd) Director of the Capstone Course 2026/1, called on Lieutenant General Mir Mushfiqur Rahman, BSP, SUP, ndc, psc, PSO of the AFD. The delegation was briefed on the functions of the AFD, complemented by lively and candid interactive sessions aimed at fostering knowledge exchange and constructive dialogue.

The head of the delegation expressed his sincere gratitude to the PSO, AFD for organizing such an impactful visit and emphasizing the significance of the Armed Forces Division. In response, the PSO conveyed profound appreciation to the National Defence College for selecting the AFD as one of the key destinations for the Capstone Course. This visit reinforced the bond between leaders of various sectors and Armed Forces, which fostered a deeper understanding of national security frameworks.
