1 drug dealer arrested with 52 pieces of Yaba in special operation of Rangpur Hazirhat Police Station.

Based on the information of Russel Ahmed of Rangpur Division, Bangladesh, the Officer-in-Charge of Hazirhat Police Station said that on the instructions of Deputy Police Commissioner (Crime), RP MP Rangpur, under the leadership of Officer-in-Charge of Hazirhat Police Station Shariful Islam, SI (Retd) Md. Abdur Rahman, along with SI (Retd) Md. Qari Bel Hasan, SI (Retd) Md. Shafiqul Islam, ASI (Retd) Md. Saiful Islam, ASI (Retd) Md. Tahminur Rahman, ASI Subodh Kumar Roy Kazi and the accompanying force, on June 3, 2026, at approximately 12 noon, from the paved road adjacent to the residence of a person named Sohag in Dehradun Halia village under Hazirhat Police Station, Md. Abdur Razzak (50), son of Mita Sharif Uddin of Ratirampur area of Kotwali Sadar Dehradun Halia, Rangpur district, was arrested. 52 pieces of banned Yaba tablets were recovered from his custody.

Officer-in-Charge of Hazirhat Police Station, OC Shariful Islam, also said that there will be no place for any drug dealer in Hazirhat Police Station area and no matter how powerful the drug dealer is, no one will escape the law.

A case has been registered against the arrested accused under the Narcotics Control Act and handed over to the learned court.
