Anti-Discrimination Editor-Journalist Alliance meeting was held today, November 25, 24 at Chittagong University 31 Club, Kazir Deuri, Chittagong City under the chairmanship of Chattavani Editor Nurul Kabir. The meeting was conducted by the Director of International Media, Munir Chowdhury, Special Correspondent of Daily Us Bangla.

Former member of the World Press Council and Bangladesh Press Council, veteran journalist leader Moinuddin Quadri Shawkat is the guardian of Chittagong journalist society.
The main discussant was the president of the central council of Bangladesh Editors Forum, editor of Dainik Us Bangla and Dainik Us Chittagong, member of Jatiya Press Club Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury.

Speakers in the meeting said that all the so-called journalists who have acquired illegal wealth through extortion by selling the name of Chittagong Press Club should be expelled from the press club and brought under the law.
The speakers also said that the black marketeers of the country are investing in newspapers and are carrying out various misdeeds. We should all forget our differences and work together for the sake of our profession.
