The smuggling of the deadly drug yaba, which is a very lucrative business due to its small size and high price, seems to have not stopped even self-sufficient millionaires. Many people are running this business behind the mask of polite people who are always out of reach, the common people who are smuggling this deadly drug yaba are using them, and the masked mafia is making a big profit by putting salt on their heads.
Cox’s Bazar RAB-15’s expedition team learned based on intelligence information that some drug dealers are staying in the bamboo grove on the east side of the house of one Syedul Islam, a resident of Purba Farir Bill in Palangkhali Union under Ukhia Police Station, with the intention of buying and selling a large amount of drugs. Based on the information received, a special operation was conducted at the mentioned place at approximately 04:15 AM on May 8, 2026 by a smart team of RAB-15, CPC-2.

Sensing the presence of RAB, the drug dealers were able to escape by taking advantage of the darkness, but after searching the spot, 250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand) pieces of Yaba tablets were recovered in an abandoned state.

The seized narcotics and other related evidence have been seized as per the seizure list as per the rules. RAB’s intelligence surveillance is continuing to identify and arrest the absconding accused. The process of handing over the recovered evidence to Ukhia Police Station of Cox’s Bazar district for taking necessary legal action has been completed.
