CID Chief receives courtesy call from BFIU and UK National Crime Agency delegation

UK National Crime Agency delegation meets Bangladesh CID Chief A courtesy call was held on 07 October 2025 at CID Headquarters, Dhaka with CID Chief Additional IGP Mr. Md. Chibgat Ullah, BPM, PPM.

During the meeting, discussions were held on enhancing cooperation and coordination between law enforcement agencies of Bangladesh and the UK in various areas of mutual interest, as well as strengthening mutual cooperation and coordination in transnational crimes such as money laundering, organized human trafficking and other cyber crimes.

Ian Porter, Alan Rose and Paul Carnell of UK National Crime Agency were present at the time. AKM Nurunnabi, Additional Director and Mst. Fuara Khatun, Joint Director were present on behalf of BFIU.

They expressed their hope to further strengthen the existing cooperation between them. Other senior officials of CID were also present during the courtesy call.
